ATMs used to be designed for dial-up operation via a phone line, however many ATM machines now come equipped with an RJ45 Jack for Ethernet ready connections to an ISP (internet Service Provider). And now, ATM cellular gateway service is available that makes the need for a phone line a thing of the past.[list style="red-arrow-1"]
- With an ATM cellular gateway wireless box you can have remote access for almost any ATM. Now turn just about any of our late model ATM Machines into a Mobile Cash Machine. The Ethernet connection on certain ATM machines allows retailers with Internet service to perform ATM transactions without adding a phone line. This saves a monthly additional phone line expense and internet transactions occur in under 8 seconds compared to phone line transactions of 20 seconds. Making it a great option for busy locations.

Typical Dial-up ATM Cash Machines
The Dial-up Interface is a controller that connects an ATM designed for leased-line operation to processing host computer over a standard dial phone line, eliminating the high cost of a dedicated leased line and the capital investment in modems, dramatically improving unit profitability. Proprietary technology, initially released in 1995, has undergone substantial refinement and currently is supporting hundreds of ATMs. Its advanced design includes features that alert the processor, acting as host, when operational malfunctions occur in the ATM, lowering downtime. The following Lease Line ATMs are supported.

- Diebold 1064, 10641, 1063, 906, 911, 912
ATMs must be programmed for Diebold 911 emulation and Burroughs TC500 protocol.
Accounting and Management Reporting
Our processing center operates an extensive settlement and accounting system that assures prompt, accurate delivery of funds to the owner of the ATM and detailed periodic reporting. Reporting is done down to the transaction level on a daily basis via the Internet. A separate monthly merchant statement is also mailed at no additional charge.
The management reporting and residual accounting are designed to support multiple-party revenue sharing among merchants and other business partners if needed.
